Taylors Subang Roadshow

Two Hyenas were already on prowl from 10am at the basketball court of the Taylors Subang campus. Stocked with barriers and nettings, an enclosure was set up around the court. Soon after, with the assistance of the MAD crew, lines were set up and an arena was built.
Part of the sports and recreational day, the students of Taylors Subang campus were invited to be a part of the excitement with booths set up for various clubs of the campus to showcase and recruit their members.

Signing up at the booth…
Hyenas pounced on the opportunity to introduce Dodgeball to their home. It has been a good year for the Hyenas. Having started with a small group of dedicated students, the club has grown and expanded by leaps and bounds in a short period of time. The club participated in many of MAD`s events and have been active in assisting MAD with its various clinics, road shows and other programs. They also achieved great success by emerging as runner-ups for The Star’s Rage Tournament 09 held at One Utama. Both the senior and junior squad clinched 2nd and 3rd place respectively at the annual Campus League held at E@Curve.
The members developed an incredible bond amongst each other and towards other campuses. The dedication shown by the OYA`s especially the Dodgettes and Fanfare have been a constant attraction every week with their colorful banners, catchy chants and cheers.
No doubt the Hyenas have come long and far in their journey to becoming one of MAD`s premier clubs. The students at Taylors were witnesses to the team that showed its flare during the roadshow. Decked out in full gear, the Hyenas took on exhibition matches with Inti and Metropolitan (Maestros) nearby.
Hyenas taking on Metro
An exhibition booth was placed near the court that saw students scurrying to sign up. The response was overwhelming as the members were having a hard time keeping track of noting down the details of the interested participants.
The new signees also took to the courts to learn how to play the game. Coached by the members of the Hyenas, it was indeed a memorable occasion for the first timers.
New joiners to the fore!
The Dodgeball club also drew the largest number of registered students on that day. Over 200 names were on paper, truly a remarkable accomplishment.
The crew that took part that day deserves full mention as MAD was extremely proud and honored to have been a part of the fun!
