An enCaunter with Marion….

The multi purpose hall of Taylors Subang Campus was used as a venue to house a rowdy bunch of Dodgeballers. Collectively, the pack of Hyenas was at hand to showcase some of their stuff on court.

However training was scheduled in the morning. This was not coincidental as MAD in collaboration with Taylors Hyenas was to do a promotional shoot for MYEG ‘s Extra Time.

The saucy advertisement of the show on Star Sports has no doubt garnered a fair amount of attention. To showcase abit of Dodgeball, a small clip was done showcasing our very own Wai Tat and the members of the Hyeans. Marion Caunter was the presenter at hand to conduct the short, candid interview.

After exchanging pleasantries with one another, dodgeball got a short introduction before getting down to the games. Both Wai Tat and Marion took turns selecting their teammates for a friendly amongst each other.
There were a few surprises here and there to even out the odds of the duel between Marion and Wai Tat`s respective teams.
The first stipulation was that Wai Tat`s team had to link arms together while playing. This no doubt was a huge chink in the armor as Marion`s team were relentless and tried to eliminate Wai Tat`s team as quickly as possible.

After two wins by Marion`s team, it was Wai Tat`s turn to exert some much needed revenge. A new ruling was set whereby upon Marion’s exit, the entire team would follow suit.

Protecting the Queen…
This led to a protect Marion strategy. And bodies were sacrificed to keep the edgy host in the game. And it did work till the she was the last person standing.
An exhausted Subbu from Wai Tat`s team finally took the victory after catching one of the balls thrown by Marion.
A few more friendly games were played out later with an all girls team taking on an all boys team (the former won lots of times as well!!)
A fun filled morning that continued till noon time. Thanks to the Hyenas and MyEg for having MAD!!
